Roots

The main root grows strongly, 0.5-1m deep. The main root is often broken when the plant has secondary roots, the secondary root system is very developed and widely distributed. The root system is deep or shallow, strong or weak, all related to the level of branching and development of the above-ground parts. Therefore, to have the desired root system, we just need to prune the branches and pinch the top.

Stem

The stem is round and succulent, covered with hairs, when the plant grows, the stem turns woody. Depending on the ability to grow and branch, tomatoes are divided into 4 different types:

• Infinite type: Stem is longer than 2m, has the first flower cluster on the 9th-11th leaf, then, 3-4 leaves later, has the next flower cluster. This type has the potential for high yield thanks to long-term harvesting.
• Finite form: The stem is hard, grows upright, has the first flower cluster on the 7th-9th leaf, then, every 1-2 leaves, the next flower cluster appears until the plant has 4-6 flower clusters, the top flower cluster appears, the plant stops growing. This type of tomato produces fruit early and concentratedly.
• Semi-finite form: Similar to the finite form, but the number of flower clusters of this type is more, about 8-10 clusters.
• Bush form: Tomatoes have very short internodes, strong shoots, few flower clusters, produce concentrated fruit, serving for dense planting and mechanical harvesting.

Flowers

Flowers grow in clusters on the stem, usually each cluster has 6-12 flowers. Because tomatoes secrete a lot of toxic hormones, they do not attract insects, the pollen is heavy, so cross-pollination is difficult to occur.

Fruit

Juicy fruit, the shape of the fruit varies from round to long, the fruit is divided into 2 or more compartments.

Small, narrow, hairy, light yellow, slightly dark.
